MINOR INJURIES

stethoscopeYou do not always need to attend the A&E department for treatment to minor injuries.  The following injuries may be treated at the surgery: 

  • Foreign bodies in the eye or skin
  • Minor head injuries with no loss of consciousness
  • Minor scalds or burns that have broken the skin
  • Small cuts
  • Sprains

Please make an appointment in the usual way.

If you are losing a lot of blood, or think you have broken a bone, or you have experienced a loss of consciousness, you should go straight to hospital (University Hospital, Coventry telephone 024 7696 4000 or George Eliot Hospital, Nuneaton telephone 024 7635 1351)
